OS: The OS on this phone is terribly slow. Every time I hit a button, be it the back button or an app or opening my messages, there is a delay of about 3/4 of a second. That doesn't seem like much, but it's incredibly slow for this day and age. I like simple phones, but I'm used to using Samsung flip phones which are well-built and have simple but efficient OS. This was the primary issue I had with this phone.
MP3 Player: While I understand most people might not be looking for an mp3 player with most phones, it is something I thought was a selling point for this phone -- especially because it comes with a sport armband for using the phone for your tunes while running or working out. Unfortunately, after organizing my playlists with simple folders on my 16gb SD card, I was upset to find that the Modu T did not recognize the folders in the mp3 player. This is to say that I would have to scroll through all of my songs to find one in particular rather than simply picking the folder of the artist I want. Now, the Modu T does let you select to view songs by artist name, but not all of my mp3s have the artist name programmed in and I prefer a folder layout. I did not try to figure out a way around this or how to program playlists into the phone, however. Also, be aware that this phone uses a usb-c port for headphones, not a 3.5mm audio jack! This is a newer trend, and while the phone comes with a set of headphones they are not particularly good; all of my headphones are 3.5mm, but this was my fault for not noticing.
All in all, I think the phone has some great features and its limitations I actually find helpful. The OS, however, is simply too slow. Also, being that it is sold almost like a multi-use device with camera and mp3 features, I found the mp3 player to be outdated.
This is my second modu, I have use modu more than four years. It still work well only problem is that I have hard time to charge the phone, but it's my fault I have damaged the charge pin by my self.
This is why I buy the second modu, it's so good. It's easy to carry with and tough, I always drop my phone but it still work.
