Bring a modern touch to your kitchen with the 7175 Level one-handle high-arc pullout kitchen faucet from Moen. A Hydrolock quick connect system simplifies faucet installation, while the LifeShine finish prevents wear. This product is part of Moen's Level line of kitchen and bathroom fixtures, which are notable for their sleek, refined style.
Part of Moen's Level collection, the 7175 adds a sleek, modern look to your kitchen (click to enlarge).
The Moen 7175 features a high-arc spout that offers height and reach to fill or clean large pots, while the pull-out wand provides maneuverability for rinsing. The spout operates in stream or spray mode and can deliver up to 1.5 gallons of water per minute at 60 pounds per square inch (PSI). When filling a pot or another vessel outside the sink, the faucet's pause feature conveniently stops the flow of water as the spray wand passes over the countertop. The faucet's lever-style handle rotates 100 degrees and can be installed on either side.
Other highlights of the system include a 1255 Duralast cartridge, two independently operating check valves to prevent backflow, and flexible supply lines with 3/8-inch compression fittings. The spout is 24 inches long.
Reflex Technology for Ease of Use
This product includes Moen's Reflex pull-down system, which enables you to extend, maneuver, and dock the faucet's sprayer with ease. Thanks to an ultra-flexible, 68-inch hose, the spray wand swivels to offer a wide range of motion and an effortless, natural response. When you're finished, the sprayer retracts completely and securely to the docked position from any distance without any assistance. According to tests, the Moen 7175's sprayer is 40 percent easier to unlatch and extend than those on other pull-down faucets.
LifeShine Finish for Long-Lasting Durability
The Moen 7175 Level one-handle high-arc pullout kitchen faucet features the company's signature LifeShine non-tarnish finish, which is designed never to wear off, even with daily use. The finish gives you the designer touch of polished brass with the durability of chrome, and is guaranteed not to tarnish, corrode, or flake off.
Hydrolock Technology for Fast Installation
This product features Moen's innovative Hydrolock quick connect system, patented by ITT Industries, which allows for easier and faster faucet installation and removal and eliminates the need to use tools to attach the water line to the faucet. The water lines snap in with a telltale "click," so the installer knows the connection is secure. The Moen 7175 is designed to be installed through one hole with a minimum diameter of 1-1/2 inches. Thanks to a 360-degree rotating spout, you can install the Moen 7175 with the handle on either side.
Follows State and Federal Standards

There is a tiny back-flow preventer assembly in the spray head and another one in the single "attached" mixing hose that can be removed with a nutpick for "maintenance". The one in the spray head is under a black restrictor insert. You might notice that when you have these items out for maintenance, water flow seems significantly stronger.
The chromed plastic spray head is really not up to the quality and durability standards of the rest of the faucet, but can easily be replaced if damaged or worn.
I've learned to live with it over the years but it's annoying as heck.
