FANTASTIC....Extremely happy with it.
Is it better then other flat amplified antennas? Nope. But... it does have one advantage - it is stiff, and can be mounted in places, positions where the floppy equivalents cannot.
One thing to remember with OTA antennas - moving one even 3-4 inches in any direction WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE in a number of picked channels.(in my case - 36 vs 91!). This is the nature of the OTA experience! It is NOT the fault of an antenna, but the place you live in, the environment.
For example, putting an antenna behind or in front of the metal shutters will make a huge difference. So, do not give up, just experiment and find the sweet spot for your region.

Love the design of this antenna but it didn't work very well for me. I live in the St. Louis metro east no more than 25 miles from farthest St. Louis tower. Since this was rated at a 50 mile distance I thought I'd be okay. In order to get all the channels on a clear day it would need to be mounted at the top of a window facing the towers and even then channel 5 would be choppy. I'm sure it is a solid product if you live in the city but I don't recommend it if you are farther than 15 miles from the towers.

Been using this product for about four months. I live in Dallas, so all stations are broadcasting from nearly the same location 25-28mi from my house and the terrain is very flat. Antenna is placed on top of a bookshelf next to a window, but it still has reception issues on certain channels. An antenna with a claimed max reception distance of 50mi shouldn't have reception problems in this setup. Replacing it with a model from Antennas direct.

The first package I received had did not have the amplifier, an instruction manual, or the USB cable. I set it up and it struggled to pull any channels cleanly for me. The TV Fool website showed I was supposed to receive about 45 clear channels (I'm in Denver and the towers are up high in the foothills about 20 miles form me, well within the 30 mile range touted for the Curve 30). I moved it to a few different spots, but with this particular antenna, you are somewhat limited in where it can go. Sure, it has a stand, but what if you have to set it up on the console BACKWARDS so it faces the towers and gets a better signal? I returned it and was sent the correct package the second time, which came properly packaged. The reception is MUCH better, although still not as good as I expected. Who are these people that leave reviews saying they have perfect reception on all channels? I get about 30, of which I only really care about 10 or so. I am mostly satisfied, except I have to set the antenna backwards on my console, exposing the coaxial cable on the back, to get the best signal. I kind of wish I'd just gone for the Sky 60 roof-mount antenna. This one will do for now, but I am curious to see how it performs in poor weather.

It's a crapshoot. The stations I care about are only 8 miles away. Antennaweb.org says a small unamplified multi-directional is fine. Actual experience with my prior Radio Shack 15-1880 was not so hot, it was very flaky depending on how the antenna was positioned, whether you were standing near it, etc. So we hopefully try the Mohu Curve 50. It has a nice form factor. It's also very particular about how it's pointed. That "50-mile range" thing has no credibility with me. The cable sticking out straight from device is often not the cable route you want. In the end, our optimal position was duct-taped to the window, right angle connector added to make the cable route nicely, not using the stand, with all that we had one weak station. So our total final solution includes a splitter and both antennas (we're using the Mohu amplifier fed from both antennas, and all the stations are better. If I had to do it over again I'd be tempted to buy a $25 signal strength meter too to simplify the antenna pointing. One final note: keep in mind that while you're holding it your body is part of the antenna too, so practice letting go, checking the signals, moving it, etc etc. All in all, I can't say I can believe anything the manufacturers or websites say, so be prepared to futz with it and see what happens. If I was farther out out I'd leap directly to the Mohu Sky and put it in my attic. And I'd get the Triplett 3275 signal meter since I don't have a Dish box that includes a signal meter.

I got this 50 Designer HDTV Antenna, but not from amazon and let me say that I don't regret it and it paid for it self with time. I get 60 channels and I live in a country side with trees around and houses around my house. Very satisfied with my purchase. Just my two cents....

Maybe it's a function of my apartment's location, but I get every channel from New Jersey to Connecticut, clear as a bell without any interference, ever. This antenna, combined with my Roku and streaming services, means that I no longer have to pay a fortune to the cable company every month. It's not quite as elegant a design as some reviewers said, but it's unoffensive looking.

I bought this for my dad. He didn't like the fact that he didn't have all his sports channels. He gave it to me. Works perfect for someone who wants to cut the cord and will watch only the basic channels. Those are all I need.
