I am using this notebook for my first bullet journal. So, I will be reviewing this item as a beginning bullet journalist. The color of the notebook is perfect. Like some of the reviewers have noted, the paper seems a little thin, and there is some bleed through (using a black Sharpie fine tip pen). My biggest concern is that the dots don't line up across the page on some of the spreads - which is a PITA when you are trying to draw lines. Other than that, the notebook is great.

Not sure how they make this paper but I love it. I use mokeskine notebooks for everything. I prefer quality ball point pens but I also use felt tip and gel pens on this and they write smoothly and unless it's a sharpie, don't really lead through. I have to be a bit careful using felt tip pens-holding them in one spot will allow some bleeding but it doesn't happen often. I use this for a cleaning bullet journal and I prefer the dotted paper. It allows you to create your own format with check lists or billets or titles or columns and using the dots it keeps your lines straight and precise. If you are OCD about paper- this might be for you. These are like lays potato chips though... you won't just want one.

I love this little notebook. I know the Lichtrum 1917 is the bible of bullet journaling but I wanted to get my feet wet with a notebook that was cheaper and smaller. It fits in my crossbody bags (making it easier for notetaking), the pages don't bleed. I think I'll hold onto this before jumping.

Great novel-sized notebook!

I really enjoy my notebook that I've used as a Bullet Journal for the past year. The dotted lines are perfect for making different layouts so that I can experiment with what works for me throughout the year. It's about the size of a regular sized novel, making it great for throwing in your purse or your teacher bag. However, the notebook is a little small for what I was wanting to use it for. I think that for my purposes, a larger notebook would be better.
It doesn't have a Table of Contents page like BuJos generally have, but it is easy enough to make one with a ruler and a pen. The pocket in the back is perfect for carrying little slips of paper that I might want to tape into the notebook for future reference (kind of like an Interactive Notebook if you're familiar with AVID) or I can just fold it and slip it into the notebook until I am ready to tape it in. The elastic band helps keep the notebook closed when I'm not using it, although it has gotten a bit loose after a year of use.

The paper quality was almost like writing on toilet paper. It's such a low gsm that most pens ghost on the other side. But a redeeming quality is that it is very durable. I used my Moleskine as a bullet journal, so I used it everyday, carried it around with me everywhere, switched between small cramped purses to large backpacks for months, and it held up wonderfully. The binding and cover is great!
