Editorial Reviews

This is a charming story with a universal theme and a heartwarming ending. The colorful illustrations complement the text, visualizing the characters and adding to the book's appeal. -Rhoda Winer, reading specialist (Orton Gillingham practitioner), middle school teacher

Shelley Steinle is an imaginative and skillful illustrator. She is gifted in many media but her drawings illustrating books have so much life, good humor and flawless technique that they seem to breathe with the force of life itself. ... Shelley exhibits a continuing passion to make the imagined visible to her many fans and collectors.

- Linda Van Hart: Toll House Studio, Off Track Art, NOMA Gallery, Visual Arts Coordinator for Common Ground on The Hill, Art & Art History Department: McDaniel College, NAEA National Teacher of The Year Award for classroom excellence and art advocacy

Pam Wight has created another "Purrfectly" charming children's book. Molly and the other animals in her story find a common purpose. They help Molly the cat find her purr. The illustrations are delightful. A great book for reading in the classroom. -Karen L. Paulick, Primary Teacher

In Molly Finds Her Purr, Pamela S. Wight revisits the beautiful world of Birds of Paradise, but this time directs our attention to the first book's ostensible villain. I have never been much of a Cat Person, but thanks to Wight's delightful tale of trust and friendship, I am now a Molly The Cat Person. -Mike Allegra, Author of Everybody's Favorite Book and Scampers Thinks Like a Scientist
