    There’s not one fact in this book. So poorly written a 4th grader could revise it. You’d have to be a ridiculous human being to believe that Hoelar was never at fault for anything that ever happened when he was associated with Guru and that everyone in the rap game conspired against him and his wack beats and dumb ideas like trying to AutoTune Guru on Fastlane. This is nothing more than the inarticulate rantings of a deluded failure that proves nothing and will make you dislike Solar more than you already do.

    As an admirer of Hip Hop you don't get to hear all sides of a story and I guess that is in entertainment in general. We hear about the beefs but never all the players involved, what started the beefs, what cause the beefs, and ultimately what ever happened to the beef. Youknow, the intricate little nuances & details involved. SOLAR does an excellent job of just that. He also manages to paint the picture of the CULTURE from a 1st hand point of view. We often here talk of so called "Indie" moves in the business, but they all seem to have some crossover point where they become subsidiaries of a major label and I guess that is the plan. I get the impression that 7 GRAND was completely independent, and was able to be successful as a true independent label. I think that's why the GOD may have been vilified. As far as GURU/GANGSTARR (Premiere) goes believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.... PEACE TO THE GODS & EARTHS!!!

    The life story of the late guru(rip friend) by solar is a great read. I do accept it as a sincere and genuine standpoint of guru's life from his close friend and business partner solar(big ups✅). There are a few grammatical errors throughout the texts but nothing too much to discredit from the valuable info contained in it. I will continue to reread for a greater inspiration and understanding of this hip hop icon's life. I truly believe the label 7grand records was about to change if not highly support a positive paradigm shift change in the minds of many a people. Rest in peace Guru, even though I have flaws and you indirectly call me out on them through a great understanding of your personal knowledge of self, i know its out of love; and your actions show that. One love, peace!

    This book is all over the place. It is not written linearly. Every chapter goes back and forth between "Me and Guru saved hip hop" and "I grew up in the streets". Solar claims to have been in medical school, but somehow have time to be going on world tours? Instead of repeating "devils tried attacking me from all media outlets" why not ignore the negativity and focus on proving your point with clear, detailed, and objective information? I want to see this Solar guy as neutral as possible. You aren't making it easy to see things from your point of view, Mr Mosher. Skip this one. Instead of giving answers, you raise 100 more questions!

    Most of the stuff in this book can be found on the internet for free. Not some third hand knowledge from some never accomplished anything in life but steal from others whose name isn't worth repeating. Typos and inaccurate info litter this book. If you must read this and you don't want to waste your money, download it for free
