I had read and enjoyed These Are The Moments by Jenny Bravo last year, and so I kind of knew what to expect from her this time around. I love that this is the story of Wendy and Simon told from Simons perspective this time around. It was very interesting to read about love from a young guys perspective.
All in all it was a quick, enjoyable read.
Moments Like These is written in Simon's perspective of his relationship with Wendy, offering an additional layer to its predecessor These Are the Moments. This novella gives readers several "ah-ha!" moments that contribute to a deeper understanding of what made their relationship function the way it did. Jenny embraced this perspective with a voice that was both unique and nostalgic. Moments Like These was definitely an enjoyable read that I'd recommend to young-at-heart romantics.
This novella offers a refreshing take on the Simon & Wendy love story from 'These Are The Moments'. In 'Moments Like These', Simon's character is clearly developed for us, and we see the beginning of his and Wendy's relationship from his perspective. Jenny has mastered the teenage-boy view point in a fun, authentic way.
Like much of Jenny's fiction, this novella left me feeling reflective, and definitely eager to read more of Jenny's writing.
