I liked this because it was really funny, especially when he was in the middle of flying and he fell down. One thing the author did well was she added a lot of details, particularly, when a cloud dragon flew over a fire and made it rain. My favorite part was when Leanardo’s machine broke. My favorite character was Leanardo because he was a funny and mad genius. I would recommend this book if you like books that are funny and detailed.

ary Pope Osborne's MONDAYS WITH A MAD GENIUS offers #38 in the 'Magic Tree House: A Merlin Mission' series. Here a mysterious message from Morgan le Fay, magical librarian of Camelot, involves two children the key to helping magician Merlin discovery joy in his life again. First they must journey to the magic tree house for 1500s Italy, and meet Leonardo da Vinci no prior familiarity with the series is required to make this a fun, inviting read.

My 7yr old adores these books, he can't get enough! I bought this particular book this afternoon and within 2 and a half hours or so he had already finished it and was asking for more! I love that he is engaging himself and fostering his love for reading AND that he is learning so much at the same time. Can't recommend this series enough!

My son has loved these books since the 1st grade. They follow similar charactors throughout the series and are easy reading for an advanced reader. At the same time they challange an average reader with an easy to follow plot.

I always read the books before my grandson so that we can talk about what he is reading and I can encourage him to expect some nice surprises... It seems to help him to continue to get the most out of every book. The Magic Tree House books are an asset to parents.

The Magic Tree House books are a MUST READ collection for all children. Unlike many other series for young readers, the Magic Tree House should be read in chronological order to best appreciate Jack and Annie's travels through time as they go on various missions; which are typically completed in four parts. Parents and educators will enjoy going along for the ride as much as their students! My daughter is a teenager now but she still gets excited when she sees a new tree house adventure has come out.

I think the Magic Tree House series is one of the best series I ever read. I especially like this one because it has a couple of scary parts and that is one of the most important parts of a book.
