I love origami. I usually only fold American Dollar Bills. I give them as gifts and I leave them as tips at restaurants. I am always on the look out for new and exciting books on the subject. I purchased this book titled, Money Folding: Making Banknotes into Gifts You Can Spend. It is a nice book, but I was expecting more origami folds with just banknotes. To complete most of the project, you had to add some other form of paper: papicolor cards, CArt-us cards, origami paper, scrapbook paper, etc. And then there was a lot of gluing and pasting. All that is fine, but I was looking for more of origami projects with just money. I think this book is perfect for family projects with the kids. It was interesting though to see banknotes from other countries being used.

While there a several good money folds in the book, many of the projects are for folding other things than money. Examples are wallets for money, picture frame, cards, etc. If you really want to do money folding, get another book, because this one only has a few actual money-folding projects.

The cover is deceiving. It's actually a craft book using money. Not money origami. Most money folding projects use wire, glue, tape, or beads. Not what I was looking for. Took away from the art of money folding for me and made it a scrap book project. If you're looking for crafts this is for you.

This book had several patterns in it that were simple and a few for experienced folders. All-in-all I got the pattern I was after, but I have read better money folding books.

Disappointed because not the projects are paper folding, some of of need cut and paste, the money size is not fit for some of the folding projects. Not worth the price.
