Don't just ride the mountain, own it.
All-day riding. All of the mountain. All of the time. Light enough to save you energy, but still sturdy enough for rocky adventures. The all-mountain experience is even customizable thanks to preload and lockout suspension features that allow you to adjust your suspension to the path in front of you. Leave no trail untouched.
The Teocali by Mongoose
All-mountain and aggressive endurance riding
In a world full of cookie cutter categories, versatility is a valuable commodity. It's no different on the trail, where a versatile bike is needed to be able to climb, descend and handle all of the tricky patches in between. Enter the Mongoose Teocali, a durable all-mountain bike that can truly do it all. Take it uphill, bomb it downhill, and speed through singletrack when you and your friends are ready to change things up. It's lighter than most downhill bikes, which makes it great for steep climbs, but it's more powerful than XC rides for added durability. Did we mention it's versatile? The Teocali still has enough travel to dominate gnarly and rocky trails, and you can tune the travel down to save energy or turn it into a race bike. It's time you experience the true meaning of versatility.

How it all began:
Founded in 1974 in a Southern California garage, Mongoose was born when founder Skip Hess designed the MotoMag One wheel to make BMX bikes stronger with a rad new look. From there, BMX riding turned from an underground hobby to a full-blown phenomenon, with Mongoose's innovative products continually forging the sport's exciting new path. Mongoose riders dominated the BMX race circuit in the 1980s, while the company continued to push bicycle boundaries by pioneering the first wave of full-suspension mountain bike frames. Today, Mongoose continues to create products that push riders to thrilling new limits, whether it's ripping through gnarly mountain trails, stomping tricks in the park or owning the urban jungle. From reinventing the wheel to our current line of BMX, mountain and pavement bikes, Mongoose is synonymous with pure, unadulterated performance that always keeps the party going.

Pedaling efficiency is great on climbs (granted the most Enduro bike I rode was a 2007 specialized Enduro).
Descending is awesome and the Manitou suspension holds up really well.
I would've preferred to have a single chain ring up front.
And the dropper post on the small frame can't go all the way down the seat tube. So I'm left not fully utilizing the range.
Overall this is a fantastic bike for a solid price.
