Not actually a proper VESA EVC plug; it's made using the shell for a DVI plug instead, and it obliges you to tap it on to the connector the first time to actually shape the shell correctly. Given the rarity and possibly expense of the kind of oddball equipment that takes a VESA EVC, you might want to know this beforehand, especially if your graphics adapter isn't mounted as firmly as the one in my HP Visualize is, I was only slightly nervous tapping it on. It DOES work as advertised and is actually better built than the genuine HP device, which is a rather cheap-feeling clip-together plastic affair, this, on the other hand, is a solid lump of rubber. This means it's non-serviceable, but, really, how many of these sorts of things are? If that worries you, buy a second. That's why cheap things like this exist.

Works on infocus LP120

This served the purpose of giving me flexible interfaces to my older (2002?) InFocus Lp-120. I always ran into the problem that hotel conference rooms would furnish a long VGA connector cable to various laptops around the room could share the Bring your own projector. However the Infocus projector does not have the standard VGA, so I always needed an adapter. Once my original Infocus cable died, the Flexible adapter seemed the better choice.

I bought a used Infocus HiDef (1080p) video projector with one big problem. Infocus uses what they call an M1 input. Looks like a DVI connector with 3 rows of 10 pins instead of 3 rows of 8 pins. Not easy to find these adapters but if you search Amazon you can find M1 to VGA (this one), M1 to HDMI, M1 to component (cable), etc. Now my projector can run most any input. Great price too. Thank you, Amazon!

The web page said it would fit the projector, but did not include information stating that it would only fit certain models and describing which ones.
