Product Description
Factory installed sound systems can make aftermarket component integration difficult.
Getting the sound quality you want from your stereo system can be difficult. You may want to upgrade your system by installing a high performance amplifier to improve the dynamics of your system or increase your bass output by installing an aftermarket subwoofer.
The problem is, many new cars have integrated electronic systems that are not compatible with aftermarket audio add-ons. This means that car owners who want more power or deeper, richer bass may have to replace their entire original factory system with an entirely new aftermarket system. Not only is this time consuming and expensive, some automobile manufactures will void owner warrantees if original factory installed equipment is removed or modified. So how can you custom design and upgrade your car audio system while keeping original components intact?
Monster's FactoryLinx Interfaces simplify system upgrading.
These FactoryLinx interfaces accept speaker level input and output at RCA pre-amp level, so you can easily connect factory stereo systems with aftermarket amplifiers, amplified speakers, equalizers, subwoofers or crossovers. The interfaces feature two pairs of standard wires for the left and right inputs and two female RCA connectors for the left and right outputs.
Monster's interfaces have an input signal level over 9 volts so they won't overload or distort your amplifier's sound. They feature very, very low source impedance for minimal noise with maximum signal drive as well as tremendous insolation between your car, the OEM components, and the aftermarket add-ons. The Monster OEM interface units are compatible with all speaker level outputs.
