If you're going to play with this, here are some complaints. You can't close the bell Jar on top of the head if you put on the ears that come with this head. That pisses me off because its something that should have been discovered in prototype production. Some people might want to display this head in its bell jar with the ears stuck to the top of the head, but you can't do that. As far as the eyes, they are fake tattoo eyes and you get a limited amount and once they are used up, you are screwed my friend, truly screwed and I know if I was a child this would be major first world child tragedy time crying. Plus the eyes are really hard to put on the face and I'm an adult and I screwed it up. So this thing is real easy to fail at and make you lose your self esteem because you screw it up easily.
So all in all this is mainly good for cutesy macabre display as long as you don't want to use the ears, because who doesn't want a head in a bell jar as a display in their home?
I am in my 50's and I can remember when you could go to side shows in carnival trailers and see real deformed dead babies in bell jars, and so this really brings back memories of those old gypsy caravans and their dead deformed bell jar babies.
So as long as this is just for display, its great. As a toy that you might want to play with it brings frustration, low self esteem and tears. But that's just me. Maybe little kids don't mind when they run out of eyes to put on this thing. Mattel is evil for not selling eye refills, or not selling monster high doll stands, or not selling Monster High replacement hands....
