Sometimes dreams change…and sometimes it takes a dream reader to make it happen.
When Jaden Wilde’s girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal just months before he receives his master’s in counseling, he’s convinced that it’s cold feet. Until he learns that her no came at the advice of a new age “dream reader.” But Arsula’s hardly the woo-woo hippie his scholarly mind imagined. She’s charming, smart, and uncannily perceptive. And before long, he’s drawn to her—despite his ongoing skepticism for how her practice works.
Arsula’s intuitions led her to Birch Bay not to guide Jaden’s girlfriend—but to guide him to his best life possible. As the odd one out in an unsupportive family, Arsula can relate to the struggle to find one’s path, and she wants to see Jaden with the woman of his dreams. Although she’s cautious of being the rebound girl, what she’s starting to feel for him is too real to ignore.
When Jaden’s own volatile family issues come to a head and his doubts are made resoundingly clear, Arsula worries she’s misread the signs. Maybe they’re all wrong for each other. Maybe he should be with his ex. She’s supported him, but if he can’t believe in her, how will they ever find out if they’re truly meant to be?

In the interest of full disclosure, I was not a fan of Arsula from the previous book. Actually, to be totally honest, I was hoping that she wouldn't wind up with any of the Wilde siblings and mentioned it in my review because I just don't care for woo woo stuff in my contemporary romance, so I found her “mystical powers” annoying rather than charming. (That's just my opinion, please don't bash me for my personal taste.) That said, I really, REALLY liked her in this book. Yeah, she still is into the woo woo and I still rolled my eyes at the cheese factor of it all, but I very much liked Arsula as a person and the way that she handled herself. I also liked how she told Jaden off every time he insulted her abilities. It's quite a statement to Ms. Law's writing skills that she could make me side with Arsula over Jaden, even when I kind of agreed with the thought behind what he was saying a lot of the times. I found myself rooting for her hardcore because Arsula was funny, likable, a little hot tempered, but also really sweet and kind. And then there was Jaden. Ah Jaden. He was prickly and a little childish at times – something that he readily admits in his own mind so this isn't me insulting him – but he was also so fragile and so incredibly good that I spent most of the book wanting to hug him because “sometimes even morons need hugs”. Knowing his background and having read the previous books, I absolutely adored Jaden and his grumpiness.
Of course, because this is a Wildes of Montana book, the Wilde family plays a huge part in this story, adding so much awesome to this already great love story. I seriously adore this family, and every scene that happened between the siblings or any scene that had Jenna and Haley in it, made me just crave more of all of them. (The stuff happening with Mr. Wilde however, was beyond heartbreaking and I am dreading that part of the future books.)
I cannot wait for Cord and Nate's books, even though it will mean an end to this series and these siblings that I love so much.
I would highly recommend this story to anyone who has read the previous books – you're going to love Jaden & Arsula – or to anyone who likes a fun opposites attract story. You cannot go wrong with a Kim Law story.
Jaden Wilde is the youngest of the six Wilde siblings. He has returned home for his brother’s wedding. He is excited about seeing his girlfriend, Megan and has a surprise for her. It doesn’t turn out as he has planned and he proceeds to get very drunk at the wedding and meets Arsula.
Arsula is a newcomer to town and has made many friends within the town, including Jaden’s family. She even works for Jaden’s sister. Arsula has a gift that she uses to help people. She felt the need to come to Birch Bay but didn’t know who she was supposed to help until she met Jaden.
They get off to a rocky start as Jaden felt that Arsula was the cause of Megan’s breakup with him. She interpreted a dream that Megan had and told her that the man she was seeing was not the man for her. Little did she know that she would meet Jaden very soon after.
Jaden and Arsula go through many ups and downs throughout the book.
I highly recommend this series ( or any books by Kim Law).
