While this book contains lots of interesting insider info, it is so riddled with typos and grammatical errors that it reads more like a very rough first draft than a finished book. I kept an informal count of these errors as I read, and they seemed to occur at the rate of several every page. Plus there are one or two factual errors: the author states, for instance, that Carol Cleveland is American, when in fact she was born in England to English parents; she spent most of her childhood in the US after her mother remarried to an American serviceman.

I would really like to give this book a more positive review, but it still needs a good round of editing.

Python fans will glean few tidbits of new info from this book, and not without suffering through page after page of misplaced apostrophes, misspelled words, open parentheses and more. The word "Pythons" appears as "Python's" in EVERY INSTANCE, often several times per page. A minor annoyance, to be sure, but by the eleventy-seventh repetition it starts to wear down one's good will towards the author, publisher and anyone else responsible for foisting this on the reading public. Combined with the innumerable spelling and other errors, it makes for a tedious read. Pretty thin stuff, poorly presented.
