At first glance, I did not care for the lack of diversity of style which is earthy, distressed and rustic. However, this book is growing on me. Each time I pick it up, it offers a new way of seeing and feeling a color and inventive ways to use color in the home (or wherever, really). So, yes, I do recommend this book for any color lover and/or imaginatively visual person looking for some inspiration.

Disappointed with this purchase because of the style of interiors Blomquist uses to get his point across. His distressed rooms with rusty, rough furniture did nothing for me. Granted he equates colours with moods but his support pix are far from appealing. Having ordered Wanderlust Interiors and submitted a glowing review I would have appreciated a head's up on Blomquist's style. Notwithstanding, I wouldn't have ordered his book.
