Came quick from UPS. Ordered two of these and two uppers for my 2004 F350 4x4. They're good quality Moogs, no worries there. Only thing is, make sure you grease the lower ball joints then remove the zerq and install the plug before you put the steering knuckle back on the axle shaft. The zerq does not clear the u-joints. Also, make sure you put the rubber boots on as stated (on the boot), otherwise they will not hold grease properly. I threw the zerqs in a tylenol bottle and put them in the glove compartment. I grease the front end every oil change (5,000 miles for my diesel). It's easiest to get to the plug/zerq for example: drivers side turn tire all the way the right. The plug is some odd size, neither metric or standard, easiest to get on and off with a small crescent wrench. Best thing of all about these ball joints is the price. Way cheaper than from any three of the local auto parts stores. Saved 150 dollars just on ball joints.

I ordered this to replace the upper ball joints on my 2000 Ford F250 4x4, Diesel. Fit was perfect. Just remember to file down the zerk fittings *before* putting it all together (if you want to leave the fittings in there full time) so that the universal joint doesn't whack it when you shift to 4-wheel drive.

These improved the ride of my truck by leaps and bounds. Moog has high build quality and these Ball Joints are no different. I have a pair on the truck now that have well over 60k miles on them and still operate fine. These were to replace cheap aftermarkets that were put on before I bought my truck. Getting them off and putting the new ones on is obviously not an easy task but there is nothing that Moog can do to change that. These were for a 2008 F250 application.

I had a shop install Moog uppers in my 2005 Excursion 4x4 when I was in a time crunch a few years ago. They did not replace the lowers at that time and said they were not prone to wearing out like the uppers. I should not have believed them and found myself installing all four new ball joints 2 years/10K miles later due to a very sloppy factory lower ball joint. I did these myself this time and while the uppers were good still from last time, I replaced them again anyway since this is not a job you want to be doing again any time soon. They fit and function great and restored the solid feeling to the front end of my Excursion. Hopefully the Moog quality is still what it used to be. Only time will tell.

Bought for my '99 F-350 dually 4x4. Fit great, only kicker is grease fittings won't clear the propshaft. Just grease them and plug, and don't forget to service them. Be sure to buy in conjunction with Moog K8607T for complete kit per side.

Looks like it should work.

Going to try and get one more winter out of the old parts, before replacing spindle bearings, axle u-joints, and ball joints. So may be awhile before I use it. (just trying to get everything ready)

Installed this and the upper joint in my truck this year on both sides with no problems. I can only hope that they last as long as the originals with proper lubrication. I got around 150k out of originals so hoping that these go at least or more than that and if not will likely put Ford ones back in but given that these cost a lot less, figured I would give them a try. The grease zerks for the upper ball joints may or may not clear your front axle shaft joints so be prepared to get a low profile zerk. The uppers I purchased had two different zerks and one cleared and the other didn't.
