Charity has finally agreed to marry Brandon, to the amusement of her family. Finally they say. But nothing in their relationship has ever been easy. Upon their arrival, Brandon has a letter waiting. He has applied to be a federal Marshall but Charity has no idea. How will handle knowing she may have to leave Y Knot, where her heart is.
Upon learning about Kansas City, Charity is hurt and doesn't know what to think. And then Luke's Cheyenne half sister shows up and everything changes. Brandon leaves to go to Kansas City and she doesn't know if he will come back. And now her Ma and Pa are having trouble, Fox Dancing's presence is bringing turmoil to them. Charity's whole life is turned upside down. But she will find out and just how strong she is through these times of trial and unknowns. Will she and Brandon resolve their relationship and finally get married and will her family weather this storm as they have all the others?
Charity and Brandon come home from Texas to find everyone glad to see them and the town happy to have their Sheriff back. The family has expanded with more children and expecting additional babies in the near future. It was so nice to "meet" Luke's half-sister from the Cheyenne Tribe. The mix of cultures was written so well and with feeling for Claire who was captured many years ago and for her husband, Flood, who rescued her. When Fox Dancing comes to meet her brother, it was amazing how the author drew me in to keep on reading into the night. Thanks for a great job.
