We got to see elk and moose by following the books recommendations on where these animals could be viewed safely .
First, the book is divided into sections so you can focus on specific areas of the park. Also, the information is so detailed - I could easily pick a section, find trails that worked for us based on length and elevation, and go from there. I have a hard time orienting myself with just descriptions and so I loved how each trail described told exactly what trailhead to access in order to get there.
This book is a keeper, and I wish that the author would write more guides for Moon because she definitely knows what she’s doing!
