"MOONLESS is powerful, compelling, and packed with soul. It was familiar England, yet always hinting at a sense of Otherness." -Bethany Kaczmarek, editor at A Little Red, Inc.

"Collier transports us to a time of elegance and mixes in supernatural splendor that gives goosebumps." -Sharon Johnston, author of SLEEPER

"I fell head over heels for the characters. The story itself was magnificent and the way Crystal writes is beyond that. I truly enjoyedevery minute." -Tammy Mckee, BookFish Books

"Moonless does a fantasticjob building a complex world filled with a cast of characters that areindividuals and stay in your memory. I highly recommend reading!" -Rachel Hert, Fantasy Editing

From the Author

This book was a writing love affair.I met it in 2003 as a quick novella, just for me. It stuck around and begged me to rewrite it and refine it for years. By the time it had a publishing deal in 2012, the story had a depth and life of its own. The characters are real to me. It has been a joy to know how they have come to life for many, many readers, and I frequently hear from readers who want the series on the big screen. Maybe one day.Now that the whole series is out, I can say what I kept thinking every time someone reviewed this book and said they wanted more answers: just wait. They're all there, and the way book 3 ties up, you'll understand. I wish I could have given more in book one, but it would have destroyed the series. To readers who have cheered all the way to the end, thank you for your patience and trust.

Crystal Collier is a happy wife and ninja mom to five whose dreams came true the day her debut novel, Moonless, won its first contest and then a publishing contract. She pens clean reads in fantasy/sci-fi, historical, and romance varieties, with the occasional touch of humor, horror, or inspiration. Even as an avid blogger who hosts book giveaways, she home schools her children and periodically performs vocally or composes new musical arrangements. She has lived from coast to coast and now calls Florida home with her AMAZING family, and “friend” (a.k.a. the zombie locked in her closet). Secretly, she dreams of world domination and a bottomless supply of cheese.
