Ray's an experienced hunter, who's spent years trudging the mountains and bush throughout New Zealand. From his years of searching, hunting experiences, researching, and interviews, Ray recounts engaging stories from many of the original hunter's families.
Includes original photographs of trophies like the first bull shoot by Eddie Herrick in 1929, and the last known Moose shot in 1952 by Percy Lyes.
It's a good interesting read and resource for those interested the history of Moose in New Zealand, and would grace any good bookshelf.
