Then a fresh breeze blows into town. Holly loves Christmas and where he is dark she is light. There is an instant attraction but he recognizes that she is not a sleep around gal. She would want a commitment and a relationship. He is not willing to be a part of either.
The local moose, BW, has ideas on how to get these two together. it won't be the first time he has matched up town folks. He knows a couple meant to be before they do. This is so funny, the dialogue is great between these two as they discover each other. it will have you laughing out loud and thinking about the scene over and over. You will love this moose!! He almost steals the story.
Loved the hero. He was confused about a lot of things but he finally learned what was really important and what he wanted. The little pixie Holly not only gets the love of her life, she winds up with a couple more relatives. There is a twist at the end of the book that most won't see coming. It was a nice surprise. I LOVED this story. it was so funny and light hearted. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Great read.
I was not paid for this review. I am not an author nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 6/18/17
This book combines a bit of everything--comedy, drama, romance. The hero, Reese, is classified as a Scrooge stand-in, and he truly is for a good portion of the book. He grows a tremendous amount. It was great to see that he didn't succumb to pride like so many men would but, rather, he listened to what others (women) had to say The heroine, Holly, comes across as the bubbly girl we all know until Reese really steps in it. She spends a bit of time in the doldrums over Reese's behavior until she receives the shock of her life. At that point, she starts to go off the rails just a bit before an intervention by Reese, when she levels out. Things move rapidly after that...in a great direction.
Mooseletoe also brings us some of the main characters from Dreamweaver as part of the story. It was good to see them again, as well.
After finishing the book, there was a note from the author where she indicates that she has two more BW stories planned. I look forward to reading them and seeing how many of our other old friends turn up in them. You'll love this book. It's great as a standalone but you'll get sooooo much more out of it if you've read (or listened to) Moosed Up and Dreamweaver. BW is a real character!
What a fun book! It was silly and sweet and even sexy. Tiffinie Helmer is a new author for me. Moostletoe is my very first book by this author. Truthfully, I don't know if I would have come across this author if it wasn't for a free promotion included in an email I received. I am so happy I got to read this fantastical, whimsical and humorous romance.
Noelle reminds me of myself. If I could pick up my life, move to Alaska and sell Christmas all year round, I would. At least give it a try because I'm not so confident I'd survive the short days and freezing temperatures. Still, I think the whole premise of this book was adorable. In addition, the characters added depth and a ton of humor. Especially BW, lol.
Reese has a bad attitude toward the holidays. His churlish nature spills over into his relationships. Or should I say, lack of? Reese is not a commitment guy. Not anymore, at least. Will two complete opposites find warmth and love with each other? Or will past insecurities leave them cold and lonely? One of my favorite moments in this book happens at the. What an amazing gesture by Reese! I can't say more but you'll just love it as well.
If you have room for one more Christmas romance on your TBR's, I absolutely recommend you check this book out. I will certainly be reading more from this author. I just adored this wonderful book!
This is my honest review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)
