would buy again and again, Mora is a brand to trust!
There is no sheath with this knife, so I used a rectangle piece of dense foam (the KIDDY PLAY FLOOR stuff) and a bungie cord to hold it on the handle. I may post pics of it soon, so people can check it out.
Again, THANKS to the H.J. Epstein Co. for stocking such useful tools and sending them out ASAP. I received both carvers way before the expected delivery date as I have with all of the stuff I've bought from them.

That aside, I was thrilled to get this item in the mail. I bought a set of cheap tools at a craft store and returned them after I got this. I like that I can use the flat edge like a carving knife but wish the edge went lower so I didn't have to stretch my hand out so far. The blade was much sharper than my carving tools but I still use a box cutter with removable blesses for certain things because of the razor sharp edge.
I'm very happy with my purchase. And it also taught me that I should wear protective gloves! I have cut my thumb twice. The fresh blade was sharp enough to draw blood but not as sharp as some exacto accidents I've had in art school.
I would definitely buy from this seller again.
Great product. Makes my carving experience fun and not as tedious as with cheap store products.
I have owned several Mora knives before and have come to expect quality steel and sharp tools on delivery and this knife actually let me down a little on that front. The blade was not sufficiently sharp to use out of the packaging and it took some time and experimentation to get anything like a workable edge on it. Now, it works pretty well most of the time. The grip fills the hand adequately when cutting in a variety of directions. I took the tip off of the blade the first time I sliced myself with it and it doesn't seem to have affected its performance since.
So this knife is ok I think the main problem has been my own difficulties with maintaining a good edge for it.
Carving bowls is not an easy task, at least not for me, but I began to get the hang of it by the end of my first project. The handle is sturdy and allowed me to use the knife comfortably for over an hour.
I am looking forward to years of future use with this knife.
Some reviewers have complained about the fact that this knife doesn't come razor sharp out of the box. Carving knives like this need to be be very sharp so you will need to at least run them across a strop after each use. If you are not already set up to sharpen properly, you should really look into learning how before you begin carving. That said, it only took 30 seconds with a leather strop and some polishing compound to remove the burr and bring the blade to a keen edge.
