It is so real and organic, shedding the old wineskin of legalism that so many of these efforts get caught up into. Instead it gives you straight talk and understanding. It s not just a book of insightful teaching but imparts faith from beginning to end (especially the last chapter) which is so rare for a book on this subject. --Shawn Bolz, Senior Pastor of Expression58

Lacks an apologetic appeal to teens and young adults.
Sure it sways some people who are already in momentum but it does not help people who need really strong and wise guidance.
Even more importantly is that this is to me one of what I consider a life changing book. Not just a "good book". It caused me to go back into my own life and retreive the treasures I had once lost. The things that I had fought for, somewhere along the road, I had counted them as not so valuable. But the author brought back to me & restored those values in my life by simply reminding me that I truly am a treasure. I am royalty!
