Worth every penny! I had my eye on this dress for a while and finally decided to take a chance on it even though it's more money than I usually spend on myself. I look absolutely nothing like a slim Asian model, so I worried that this dress would make me look like I was either pregnant or wearing a tent, but my husband assured me that neither of those things was true. I wore it with leggings and ankle boots and a thin cami on a breezy 50 degree day of shopping, and I was perfectly comfortable whether outside walking or inside heated shops. The layers of knitted and woven material block the wind but the loose swing of the dress allows for air flow. The pockets are darling and functional, and the ruffled skirt is precious without being childish. The stand-up neckline is soft, and the empire waist seam has a downward curve to it that gives a suggestion of a waistline even though the dress isn't at all fitted, which I think is what really makes the dress work.

I'm 5'4" and 190, for reference. I ordered an XXL and I'm happy with the size, though I suspect I could have gotten away with an XL too, because the cut is extremely forgiving. I think this may be one of those unicorn-rare dresses that really would work both as a regular dress and as a maternity dress, at least through 2nd trimester, though the underdress is woven and has no stretch so at a certain point it would be constricting over a belly. I seriously recommend trying this dress if it appeals to you.

My purchase was XL because I wanted a loose fit, and it is. It's a cute cover up with jeans or leggings. If you're over 5'-9", the sleeves may be too short, and the ruffles may hit in an unattractive area of the body. The cotton fabric is soft and thick enough for fall and winter.

The new love of my life is this dress. It's warm, cozy, pretty well made, comfortable. Color is true to what you see online. I'm 5'3 and usually wear a dress size 14--I ordered an XXL. It's a bit big--kind of roomy. But I feel like that lends itself to the fit of the dress. I wore it to work last week & it held up well all day long & I got tons of compliments! Considering purchasing in the coffee brown color next! This is totally a staple for fall!

I ADORE this tunic! I am 5"4" and weigh between 125-135 and this is perfect with a pair of leggings and boots! I was worried that it would make me look like a frumpy middle-aged woman who was trying to dress in her teenager's clothes or worse...pregnant! However, my painfully honest 13 year old daughter told me it is her her new favorite outfit that I own and has stated that I should buy another one while they are still available. I ordered the large and am glad I did. I think the medium would have felt too confining across the shoulders.

The under material is cotton-ish and is crisper than I thought it might be--however, it is not itchy and the seams don't bother me. It doesn't cling or rub up against the outer material like I was worried it might. The outer shirt is thick and heavy and I love the texture--it is a ribbed material. Not quite a sweatshirt, but certainly heavier than a regular t-shirt. It is a flattering look with leggings--I don't know that I would be brave enough to wear it sans leggings!

I wasn't certain I was going to like the collar, but it is easy to fold and shape and you can wear it folded over if you want. It isn't like those annoying turtlenecks that strangle you! I think the detailed pleat in the back and the Empire waist curved seam are what make this such a flattering look.

I have machine washed this on the delicate cycle and let it air dry. No shrinkage. No funky smell when I took it out of the package.

The customer service from this company is amazing and I will certainly order from them again in the future.

It was 21 degrees this morning and I had to figure out what to wear. I drew this item from my closet, feeling the weight of it, thinking that it would be perfect to help keep me warm. I hadn't worn it yet and was absolutely delighted by the way it draped, the warmth, and how it looked on me. I immediately stopped getting dressed and went to my laptop and ordered another one in a different color. Another winner from Mordenmiss!

I ordered the black/blue dress. I had a hard time getting it on because it was very snug. The inside portion feels like 100% cotton. Once I was able to pull the blue dress portion down, it was easier to get my arms into the rest of the dress. I must say there was not enough room in the neck/turtleneck portion of the dress. I am 5'5" tall and wear a size 16/18. I ordered the size indicated on their chart. I do have a larger size head, and it was a very tight, tight squeeze to pull my head through, especially because the cotton portion does not stretch. I had to remove my glasses, and if I had any make up on it would've smeared all over the dress. The rest of the dress is very comfortable, and I can actually wear it as a dress, without fear of showing too much bottom area. I love the color – exactly the same as the photo . I might consider re-ordering in a different color but the dress would be a little too baggy, and I'm not sure if the neck area would be wide enough for my head to fit through. I like it nonetheless, and gave it a four star rating only because I could barely fit my head through the turtleneck. But also please note once I got my head through, the neck Area did not choke me, and I was able to get the dress off easily with the exception of squeezing my head back through again.
