This book reads very easily and would be a great way to communicate with children, about brain injury. Especially children who have mama or daddy in the ICU in a coma. It is the only book about brain injury, that I have read, that would not scare little children.
Excellent & spectacular, yet simple & kind.
I love this book!
My Christmas shopping is done! I have never spent less on Christmas, nor have I given a MORE meaningful gift. How often do you have a chance to give everyone MORE GOD?
I love the honesty and transparency of the pain, suffering and reliance on God that his family and friends went through. His mother's journal and the online prayer chain from his surfing friends were amazing as they helped Nate through his injury and eventually through his recovery! Nate spoke at the church not long ago and it brought me back to the day I heard the news about his injury and the seriousness of it and to PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!
Nate, his wife, his family and friends show that no matter what God is in control...something we all need to remember and often forget!
This story is inspiring, heart-felt and genuine! I really enjoyed reading it even as I wept a few times in the story as God was there in every part of the recovery process. I thank God for Nate and his family because he is a true walking miracle and a reminder that God is only a prayer or thought away! Being part of the group that prayed for and helped out at the event for Nate was an honor! I love to see how his life is still blessing others now through his story! Something Nate said at the church service was that he still has goals in his ongoing recovery to work towards and it reminds me that I am still a work in progress with God's help!
Thank you for sharing your story with us! We are truly blessed by it!
