SAME-SEX MARRIAGE:
“The framers of our Constitution intended that these kinds of issues be handled by the states. Judges should not be able to overturn the decisions made by the citizens of each state.”
THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS:
“This right can in no way be violated, and any attempt to erode it should be vigorously resisted. Those who insist that tyranny could never come to America should read about how it came to so many other places that also felt safe.”
EXECUTIVE ORDERS:
“Article 2 specifically states that the president ‘shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.’ It does not say that the laws with which he agrees shall be faithfully executed. The executive branch cannot pick and choose."
TAXATION:
“The founders gave Congress a great deal of latitude when it came to taxes. Unfortunately, this vagueness has been abused by our government in a way that would horrify the founders.”
FREEDOM OF RELIGION:
“Some claim that the sight of a Bible or a cross causes them so much psychological distress that it impinges upon their freedom. It is important that we learn to be reasonable and tolerant of everyone’s beliefs, without going to such extremes that we compromise everyone’s rights.”

Would I suggest this book? I am not sure, the political season (and maybe the country) is nearly over. I would not suggest this as your first Dr. Caron book, but if you like most of his other books. You will probably enjoy this one.
We as a nation, under the last several administrations have become bankrupted, financially, morally, socially, and spiritually. Ben's books including,
"We the People", give a blue print of our need, and a map of our road back to the path we should be on.
Freedom is not free. Our dalliance in the middle east, our fiscal irresponsibility in Washington with its money grubbing, all for ones self attitude and our lack of faith in our creator has brought us to the brink of disaster. Ben sees all of this and shows us with faith and the inspired document that is our constitution we can, with the help of God and only with the help of God raise this great republic to its rightful status.
Our, United States Constitution, is a simple, but brilliant document. Ben explains it piece by piece and draws it all together. Wonderfully written book and it gives us a chance and reason to read our United States Constitution.
