What can I say about the story.....I think the blurb says it all
What can I say about how i felt and what I thought while reading....
I read the last 30% five times....and the whole story three times.
Amazing read...excellent build up...wonderful written....funny, emotional and honest.
The pov's very well done!
A must read when you love m/m/m . It worked beautifully. I just loved it.
One tiny tiny thing. I would have loved it when there was some more hurt/comfort before Charlie surrendered....
"the day I stopped trusting ...... ...., and, what’s worse, the day I stopped trusting myself"
It feels like the middle was rushed. Try reading aidan and ethan by cameron dane to see what i mean. Cardeno C is still an awesome writer. Just wish charlie held out more and drew out the drama longer.
It the scrapbook/album style way to tell the story just didn't work for me. ...
The threesomes at the end of the book was hot, the hot stuff is hot. And the story is a good idea. I just didn't like the execution of it.
Characters are good, believable and interesting. Worth reading if you like MM.
This story is told in the very clever way of Chase/Charlie looking back over time and telling his story through the format of looking through a photo album of his life. I adored this. The story itself is a beautifully-written mix of humor, pain, steam and sweetness. I can't wait to read more from this author.
Charlie/Chase has always been true to himself, which has not been easy for other men in his life. I loved his honesty! Although the book is told from three different POV's, it is really Charlie who is the main character in this story. Scott is his first love and their story is hot, sweet and heartbreaking. Scott moves away abruptly but remains the love of Charlie's life. Years later, Charlie meets Adan and thinks that maybe he could love again. The way these three eventually come together is both surprising and totally hot. The character development is fantastic and the writing, to me, almost flawless. I love reading how these three souls ultimately find a way to create a life that's right for them.
If you are in any kind of book slump, read this book. It's a page-turner and completely addictive.
Charlie/Chase *sigh* I love him, he wears his heart on his sleeve. He is all out there.
And the boys that owned his heart, the boys that broke his heart even in their lowest points still deserve such a wonderful soul as Charlie.
It works, is not your usual MMM, is deeper. But I guess that is what you can expect from CC.
Always this heart clenching feeling, and this relief when they finally get their HEA.
The road might be different from the many other MMM roads I've read, and that makes it unique and special.
I laughed, I cried, I loved and I hated.
Thank you CC for an amazing ride.
