El libro es muy bueno en cuanto a la narrativa pero si no vives o eres de España sería mejor leerlo con un mapa al lado pues sí no estas familiarizado con la geografía española te pierdes entre tantos nombres de ciudades que el común de los latinoamericanos no conocemos.

I like this book because the author tells you in a very simple and didactous way how Spain was created since the islamists took power in 711 AD and the cristian kingdoms fought to reconquer the so called Al Andalus territory, which took them more than 750 years.

Interésting but it is not a novel. Instead is an historical account. I bought it under the impression that it was a historical novel.
The narrative can be a bit redundant at times.
Still there's a lot of historical information about the crusade that took place in Spain and that's not known as much ad the other crusades in the holy land.
