Not a bad controller. PDP made controllers similar to this for the PS3 and Xbox 360 last generation but they used a thumbstick instead of a d-pad. This time PDP has opted to use a traditional contact-based d-pad but the buttons are still microswitches like their old line of FightPads.
I think all my issues with it can be resolved by getting used to the controller but, in the interest of being comprehensive, I will say that the diagonals are a little tough to find and sometimes hitting two buttons at the same time is a bit tricky. I think both of these issues could probably have been resolved by making everything a little larger (or raising up the buttons slightly).
However, all-in-all I definitely recommend getting this controller since it is the only six-button controller to see release on the Xbox One (and since Street Fighter V is not coming to the Xbox One, this may end up remaining the sole option unless Hori decides to release their Fighting Commander series for the Xbox One, which is unlikely). This is definitely the tool of choice for Killer Instinct (though, ironically, if you're only interested in playing Mortal Kombat X I might say this is not the most useful controller since Mortal Kombat X doesn't use a control scheme that requires six face buttons).

The Perfect (and only) Fight Pad Compatible for Street Fighter 5 on the PC.
Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2016
Purchased this item on December 12, 2015 been using it ever since for Ultra Street Fighter 4 until Street Fighter 5.Pros:Very retro style layout and functions reminiscent of the Sega Genesis Controllers dare I say better!A very shockingly slim design for ultimate comfort especially for your left hand side.D-Pad is Superb for any Shoto happy masher.Micro Switch Buttons make this controller that much better for near perfect executions. Is compatible with any PC Fighting game so long as they support the Xbox interface (pretty standard for any PC game really)Things to be aware of:I honestly can't think of any cons other than getting used to the buttons being so close to each other. And no, any amount of force elsewhere on the controller will not activate other buttons unless you deliberately pressed that button. Say goodbye to any amount of delayed responses thanks to the microswitches but also makes it easier to whiff combos because again the buttons are so close to each other. It just takes a lot of getting used to as with any other controller. All in all this Fight Pad is your best bet to get ready for Street Fighter 5 on the PC.

First off, let me say that I don't hate this controller, and that I plan to use it in the future and quite often. I just don't love it.
I purchased this when I heard Mortal Kombat was coming out on the XBone and after struggling to use the Xbox controller on other fighting games like Killer Instinct, I thought this would be awesome. I almost went as far as buying an arcade stick from Fry's Electronics, but the 200+ price tag for a rig was too much and I would hurt myself if I wasted that much money.
The first problem with it is that it is wired. For most people, that will not be an issue. But I have not used a wired controller since Xbox 2, save for the Rocksmith cord. It costs almost as much as a new controller, why could it not be wireless? But I knew that going in so it was not a deal killer, but the length of the cord is. The dang thing is too short and I have to bring a chair into my living room to play with it so I don't rip the thing out of the console.
The second problem is the buttons are too sensitive. This may be fixed with a firmware update, but currently it is annoying. Here is an example in MKX there is a tutorial that walks you through the mechanics. Some of the advanced moves require single presses in order to achieve complicated moves/combos, but the controller buttons with register double presses. I have tried varied levels of pressure, but it does not seem to fix it and it is on all buttons. This is not a deal breaker, but since I purchased the thing to get better with fighting games, precision is a must...
That's it... it's good, just not great. I will continue to use it and hopefully I will get used to it (or they patch it with firmware). I would buy it again, but not get my hopes so high.

Got it in the mail today, glad I pre-ordered it as now it seems it is selling out. Very nice controllers, my first fight pad so can't compare it to anything else yet. Buttons have a very cool feel to them and the audible click is reminiscent of my days at the arcade a long time ago when MK 1 debuted. Wireless option would have been nice, but i gess you want a wired one if you are trying to compete...which i am really not lol. Upon opening it I thought the look and design was going to be different; i thought it was going to have a chrome MK symbol (raised and embedded) and the texture would be grainy...but I guess i didn't really examine the pictures as well as i thought. Just so you all know, it is a smooth finish and the texture and MK symbol are just painted on (not real you could say), aside from that only dissapointing realization, i am happy with this purchase, aftwr a few weeks of use I will update this first impression if the durability holds up.

I'll update my review over time.
One day in and the pad is solid. I picked up sfv for pc and have been dying to use a 6 face button controller. Plus the current cheap price made this an easy decision. The 6 buttons are very tacky and almost feel like stick buttons. I'm able to play using my right thumb easily and I like the sound the buttons make when you tap them. The dpad is nice and although prob not made more for sfv type moves I can reliable hit dp and qcf qcb motions easy. I haven't tried 360 moves yet so no idea. So far a solid controller for fighting games. I own an Xbox one so I will try mkx and killer instinct later.

The controller feels very light, which does end up giving it a cheap feel (no vibration motors or battery pack). The controller does perform fairly well, each button with a mechanic switch. The switches are very light and take little to no pressure to engage them - not sure if I'm a fan of this. D-Pad is very small - this may work to your advantage in certain fighting games, for but SF games where you're doing circular motions, it can be tricky sometimes.
Overall a decent controller, maybe worth a bit less than the $60 CAD I bought it for.

Great for XBOX One Killer Instinct
Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on December 30, 2016
The Mortal Kombat X Fight Pad by PDP is a very well-designed Fight Pad. It looks great and feels great. It works exceptionally well with Killer Instinct for the XBOX One. I purchased two of them. One for myself and one for when one of my buddies pays me a visit.

Points positifs :

Poor build quality for the price

I am reviewing old orders I have made in the past and I bought this controller for mortal kombat X back in the day. It felt light and cheaply made and it broke and the buttons stopped working after a couple weeks of use. It was poor build quality for the price

Disconnects constantly
Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on May 12, 2020
At first I thought this was a good product. Although it did arrive with multiple chips in the face on the controller. Very quick into using it I noticed it would disconnect a lot. It’s only gotten worse over the past week. Basically unusable at this point. Try and do a simple combo and it disconnects. Garbage.
