I am not going to write a review on this salt since it's a very well-known staple product. However, I just wanted to comment on this deal. I paid around $11 for this 4 lb package of Morton Salt. Don't do that. You can just go to the grocery store where 1 lb Morton Salt package retails for about 89 or 99 cents. So I could have bought a minimum of 11 lbs of this salt for $11 vs. 4 lbs that I ordered online. Unless you can't get to a store and need to order online, you can save money buy buying it locally.

I wasn't paying attention to life and my surroundings and bought this 4 lb box of salt in a hurry. A big warehouse club named after the first name of the founder sells the same 4 lb box for ninety eight cents.

the box had no protection, so when I received it, the edges were torn and worn off and about a cup of salt had made its way out of the many loose areas as the box has started to open at multiple edges.

I received my salt pretty quickly. I'm not sure why there was a bunch of loose salt inside of my box because the two I ordered seemed to be sealed up. In any case, I was at Sam's Club today and happened to walk past this exact same item and they were only 98 cents each! Having paid over $10.00 for this, I am not a happy camper. I should've priced it better first before ordering online.

The box of salt was broken and much salt was spilled out inside shipping box. As the shipping box was fine, it means they sent a broken salt box. They had put the box of salt inside a flimsy plastic bag, which didn't keep salt from spilling out.

The box was busted and salt was all over the place when it arrived at our apartment. It was strange, the Amazon box was totally fine but the Morton's box looked like it fell out the window of a moving car - not sure how it even made it into the shipping box. I got a refund and bought something else...

I am trying to stock up on salt so we can practice using some in learning how to cure meat and we want to learn how to cook with encrusting the meat in salt. 4 lbs was quite a bit and I'll purchase more. I got the iodized salt because that is something that we need in our bodies, especially us women.Since we have been experimenting and using different kinds of sea salts that don't have iodine, I felt it was best to get some so I can have it available and use it on occasion also.

Arrived damaged and spilling salt out of the top corner of the box that covered everything else in the box with it. After inspecting the box it appears to be a rather worn out boxing salt as well. Frayed along all sides and edges as if dragged and kicked.
