Product Description

BEWARE:IF THE LISTING HERE DOES NOT SAY SHIPPED AND SOLD BY THE CALIFORNIA SEED AND GARDEN COMPANY THEN YOU ARE NOT BUYING FROM A CERTIFIED NURSERY. YOU ARE BUYING FROM A FAKE THAT HAS COPIED MY AMAZON LISTING PRETENDING TO BE ME. You are getting two plants of Moruga Scorpion, two plants of the rare Chocolate Moruga Scorpion and two plants of the Yellow Moruga Scorpion. I supplied the Chile Pepper Institute with the seeds that made the recent heat record that was announced Feb. 6th 2012. This pepper has been proven to be able to produce peppers that measure over 2,000,000 Scoville Units. Its average heat is 1,200,000. The Moruga Scorpion is named after the South East region of Trinidad. It is not related to the Morouga red which is a small red Habanero type. It gets a small tail or nipple and has a slight Scotch Bonnet shape. Closely related to the Trinidad 7 Pot it's skin has a rough surface that looks like the texture of a human brain. Unlike the 7 pot the pods are consistent in shape and size. It may have a higher heat level than the traditional Red Trinidad Scorpion. Detailed grow sheet comes with your order!

I was very disappointed to receive a single plastic baggy with 10 seeds in it.
The description says "You are getting 10+ seeds of Moruga Scorpion, Orange Scorpion and Trinidad 7 Pot Jonah seeds for $19.99"
The description leads you to believe that you will receive 10 of each seed. Moruga Scorpion, Orange Scorpion and Trinidad 7 pot.

As I mentioned above, I got 1 small baggy containing 10 seeds, I have no idea what they are. If there are supposed to be 3 different seeds, then they should have been separated so we could tag them when we planted so we know which is which.
If this is a cross of the 3 peppers mentioned in the description, then the seller needs to be more clear about that.

The title for this sellers item is "Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Hot Pepper 10+ Seeds Combo pack!"
A combo pack would imply there is more than one type of pepper here.

Shipping was fast now I just hope more seeds germinate compared to the last time. Out of 30 seeds I got 5 to germinate.

This time 12 seeds of 30 germinated.

For the price I paid I wish I could get 30 Trindad Moruga Scorpion seeds and not the others. That is really what I'm looking for. If it was that way I would give this a better review.

Once again amount that germinates, and amount of seeds. To much to ask for, I don't know.

If you live in the North west. You will not have any luck growing the plants to full term with the sun.Since these grow in Australia, they need 9 months of good sun,Here in North Idaho, were lucky to get 5 months. My plants did get 7 inches tall, but i seen pictures. They get to full bush size high 4 feet tall-ish with the fruit when fully mature. If you have a green house and or good grow lights, then you might have a chance.

I bought ten seeds and gave five to a friend who has a true green thumb. We followed all the instructions and I was only able to get one seed to germinate. My friend was entirely unsuccessful. The peppers that the one plant produced were small and didn't look like the photographs of Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Hot Peppers on this website or other websites. They didn't seem to be as hot as I expected, either. Won't be buying these again.

I started these plants in February and had a 30% germanation rate. I only germinated the Moruga Scorpions and Orange Scorpions. I planted 3 of each in the garden. Its now early June and the Moruga's are begining to put on pods. I am ready for fresh pods but they are developing slowly!!!

I tried starting 9 out of 10 of these (saving 1 in case I make a mistake...) none of the 9 sprouted, though I had many other pepper plants sprout? I followed the recommended temp, etc, not one seed cracked/began to sprout... :(

Received the Trinidad Moruga Combo Pack as oredered. I received 10 seeds of each pepper, each in individual packets clearly marked. Also, received instructions on how to germinate them and grow them. Followed the directions supplied and I now have 18 of the healthiest pepper plants you ever saw. Note: I would have had more but I work away from home and had to rely on my wife, which has a brown thumb, to take care of them while I was gone. (2 week stretches) Each time I would come home while they were in their infantcy stages, I would have to rescue the survivors. My Plants have just started producing. Can't wait for them to get ripe.
