This documentary plays like a marketing piece for High Tech High. While I found it entertaining, I am not entirely convinced. The most glaring omission is any sort of exmission statistics or follow-up stories on its graduates (where are they now in the real world?). With 18 years of history at the time of the release of this documentary, there ought to be some tangible evidence available. Furthermore, the credentials of the “experts” shown in this documentary are also questionable. As a parent, I am often disillusioned about the state of our education system and am open to new ideas/methodology; however, this documentary did not do it for me. I am reluctant to gamble with the future of my children when I only have ONE chance to get it right.
