Kathleen has always had a "magic voice" sought out by teens who respect her knowledge, honesty and perspective...and by parents of teens who wonder what on earth is going on with their kids. When Kathleen's son went to university last fall, she discovered she still had advice to share with him....so she began writing and sketching. The result was this e-book. If you know a college freshman (or the parents---or grandparents---of a college freshman), order it for them! This is a book full of love and charm.

I loved this book! It hit home knowing that when my boys go to college, I'll want to make sure they know all these things.
We can't control what they do when they leave but hope they remember all they lessons they learned while at home.
The illustrations are beyond adorable.

I recommend this book for anyone with kids, going to college or not!

A really beautiful collection of brief messages ... communications ... from a mother to her son. Filled with humor and love, yet tempered by the sweet sadness that love for a child transitioning to adulthood is about being fully engaged as a parent yet also learning to parent differently. It's a fun, funny, and very honest celebration of one's child, in addition to being a readable collection of practical advice. Bravo.

She provides important practical advice and life lessons we can all benefit from and that I wish I had told my son. A fun and quick read with simple captivating drawings that bring her thoughts to life in a joyous way. Worth reading. Worth sharing. Enjoy!
