This is the incredible story of a sydney woman from the western suburbs who we watch slowly immerse herself in and then become obsessed as a Rabiah-a member of the jihadist elite. I found myself crying out "no don't do it" but knowing it was inevitable. This is a confronting and fascintating story and if you ever wondered how some people get drawn into the Islamic cause this may help you to see how it can happen. Highly recommended!

This book enjoys neither the attraction of a likeable, or at least fascinating, subject or the redeeming feature of literary merit.

A seemingly balanced and non judgemental account of an extraordinary life. An objective yet empathetic account which gave me a much deeper understanding of the challenges committed Muslims face.
