I purchased this cable as an extension for my front panel USB 3.0 port. I own an NZXT Phantom and the cable was too short from the front I/O panel to connect to my MSI P67-GD55(B3) motherboard. The cable was exactly what I needed to make the front panel USB 3.0 port to work. It is plenty long for use in almost any case since the Phantom is on the larger side. I'd recommend the product in a heart beat to anyone looking for a USB 3.0 20 pin extension cable.

If you have a tall case and some type of USB3 card reader or USB3 ports up in the top of your case, you may need an extension cable to go from the USB3 header on the motherboard to the "too short" of cable from the card reader or case. This cable is 20 inches long end to end.

Seems well constructed. I got myself an EVGA Hadron case with a Gigabyte motherboard, the USB 3.0 case cable is too short. This solved the problem.

Worked well, helped me get some more USB 3.0 slots on the front of my PC. Don't notice any difference in speed compared to the on-board ports.

Doesn't stay plugged into the cable very well, ended up bending a pin repeatedly trying to reinsert it back into place.

My front panel USB hub would not reach the USB3 card in the bottom back of the computer. This filled the gap nicely.
