A very compelling account of the long term impact of abortion on the women and their families who share their stories. The stories are heart-wretching but also so full of hope and forgiveness--a must read for those who have had abortions, those who have helped in abortions and those who want to understand what abortion does to alienate women from their true femininity.

Motherhood Interrupted is a volume of stories about real women and real pain. The pain of choice, fear and heartache. The stories talk about what happened in these womens' lives, the choices they made, and the life that took place after their choice was made. It is the reality of the choice of abortion, not the fast talk you get from the pro-abortion groups. Read it and decide for yourselves whether abortion is good for women.

This book was written for woman who know what they did is wrong and are trying to move on from there.

I have only read the forward and am already disappointed. It seems almost impossible to find a non-judgemental, non-religious, unbiased book about abortion which is truly intended to support women recovering from this, and not make a statement about abortion itself, or morality. If you are seeking a non-opinionated support book, this is not for you. Right in the forward, it makes a statement from the Catholic church and announces that the decision that "you" (the reader) made "remains terribly wrong." I can't believe this book cost me $20! This is not about women, this is about religious political agendas.
