No riveting plot; quite predictable; but fun start to finish. Without too many spoilers, a young 2nd grade teacher falls in love with another teacher, and when they get engaged, she admits to her fiance that she really would like to meet her birth mother. She finally does, and the birth mother who is an event planner takes over the wedding planning, shoving aside the girl's adoptive mother at every turn. Lots of twists and turns in the plot along the way, but the ending is satisfying on several levels. Feel good, fairy tale story.
This is a very cute movie, a little sad, but mostly funny and endearing, I would say, for the most part family appropriate and likable. Good to see those kind of movies making a come back.! I so hate the foul language and loose conduct bit! Five stars, clean type moves, though should get ten, and all the awards too. Have some fun, see this movie, of giggles and peaceful resolve, today.
This is a cute movie! It's the old Addie of two sides of the coin. Only it's two Moms that pulling on the daughter. And both wants their daughter to have their kind of wedding. Not what the daughter wants.
