Does not understand words well like "Call Home". It does not understand "Home" as a word.
It does not shut up. When a call comes in it starts to talk to you "Incoming call. Answer or Ignore." which takes almost three full rings before you can respond. You have almost no time to answer before voicemail occurs. If you respond to quickly it can get confused and ask again.
I set a volume. It always resets to medium low after every call and every time it turns on or every time it gets disconnected and reconnected or....well you get the idea. By the way regardless of the volume level it shouts commands and messages in your ear so loudly I have had people nearby turn around near and look at me.
Several reviews mention the range it works at. I will take issue with all of the reviews on distance. I have had it stay connected a hundred yards away and it will answer calls and connect. It can right under my nose in my shirt pocket and disconnect. IT MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL. I have actually had the headset say phone disconnected beep phone connected beep phone disconnected beep phone connected none stop for minutes at s time with it within the reach of my hands until I have had to turn it off to SHUT IT UP! (I think I already mentioned that it talks to much.) It is shouting in my ear and the people in my office are just staring at me and saying "about that..."
Oh by the way the battery meter function. So you turn it on and says "Battery Level High". Half a day, one hundred conversations of it shouting out all sorts of things like DISCONNECTED OOPS I MEAN CONNECTED OOPS I WAS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME AND YOU ARE DISCONNECTED and a couple actual phone calls and battery level is now MEDIUM which means I will need a nap soon. Get in your car to go home and it says BATTERY LEVEL IS LOW and that roughly translates into the next phone call from your wife had better be fast with only 3 items or less to pick up or you are going to be "CLICK" disconnected with a dead headset set. One brief mew of a beep hardly perceptible and you lose because "I am taking a nap now and you have to feed me. So plug me in baby!"
I will grant that it is comfortable and light. I honestly forget I am wearing it -- until it starts talking to itself. The gel that comes with it is very soft and comfortable and falls off almost as often as it talks to itself. Personally I think the ear gel cannot stand the headsets voice and it trying to run away but that would be anthropomorphizing too much.
In summary I will live with until it dies off as I am too cheap to buy something else. Would I recommend it....well let us say it about as much fun as having dinner with your inlaws.......
Pros: light weight
good batt life (command one)
Caller ID name announce/ voice commands/ voice prompts.
Speaker is loud and others hear me fine
Cons: Kills phone battery while connected
Ear cushion has raised edge around it causing ear to hurt after awhile
Doesn't make breakfast
