There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
Connection took a few tries, mostly because I kept getting distracted and the process timed out so I needed to fully turn off the camera, close out the app and start from scratch. Once it was set up it worked great. I particularly like that I can set up custom alerts for temperature (as well as for motion and/or sound).
My only complaint with the camera is that I wish the lens were slightly more wide-angle. When installed, it provides a fairly narrow view. The Hubble app is definitely not well rated in the Play Store but I haven't had any issues and it seems to be working well for me.
24 hours later ... it meets and exceeds all expectations. I almost sent it back though. If I did not have some patience the first day, it would be gone. LOTS of app problems, could not update the app, it would download no problem but I would get a "failed to transfer" message every single time, 3 minutes into the install .. now I knew I needed to upgrade the software because the app told me this but fail, fail, fail. I bet I installed and removed the camera from the Hubble app 10 times. I wrote the company to the email address for "Oliver" on here but no reply yet, nearly 24 hours later.
The one caveat here is the fact I knew I was trying to run this thing on a very low bandwidth Verizon JetPack/WiFi device. I'd gone through all my high speed data for the month and needed to wait 6 more days for my data to reset, meanwhile I was at 600kbps with the Verizon throttling.
HOWEVER, about 5 hours later in the evening all of a sudden I was getting images! (all along I was getting accurate temps but absolutely no image) I was actually willing to keep it for that reason only ... what I noticed was the app finally updated to the newest version ... no notice whatsoever I just happened to look at the app version compared to the one I downloaded from Apple just 3 days ago that was 100% useless.
Long story short it's working and motoring the pets at 600kbps and I've disconnected power from the wall and also turned the WiFi on and off and the camera finds it way back on by itself!
Images are just fine, although black comes out kind of purple but who cares?
The image you see is live feed ... I personally don't need motion or audio alerts. I shut them off, I just want to check in LIVE and see the view and TEMPS so I can't comment on all those (for me) unnecessary features.
Early review and will definitely update as needed ...

12/9/2018 UPDATE: Phone app pretty much stopped working, was getting connection error every time I tried to log in to watch pets, although web based Hubble link worked every time through laptop. Was really upset and almost sent it back but decided to delete the camera from phone app and do a reinstall and now for whatever reason, the phone is successfully connecting to the live stream 100% of the time for the last 3 days, so happy for now, will continue to update.

I was pleased to see that the night vision works well. This can also be a problem though as the picture can easily be washed out with an external light source. I will be testing the quality when a flash light is shined into the camera later tonight....
Another feature is the ability to play music. This is not very useful for my purposes and I would rather be able to stream from my device or play a recorded message on an event.
