I was quite surprised to find replacement HF5X batteries for the Electrify/Photon phone for sale at Amazon, and for a rock-bottom price! These are brand new batteries... not refurbished! Bottom line: the new battery holds its charge very well, giving me a full day of using my phone without the need for recharging.
The battery is good and the price at Amazon is (as always) right. Highly recommended.
When traveling, one battery is often not enough, so it's great to have a second charged battery ready to pop in.
*UPDATE 7/23/13: to the seller's credit, I immediately got an email asking how I preferred to resolve this issue. They are resending me batteries so I will try again, and hope for better experience. I plan to update this review after I get second set of batteries.
*ORIGINAL REVIEW 7/17/13: Sooooo bummed. Ordered two of these since so inexpensive. In packaging from China. Arrived impressively fast which would be great, except only one battery sent. AND...that battery is dead-on-arrival. Nothing. Have tried charging it overnight multiple times in my Motorola Defy XT but nothing. Zilch. Looks like an official Motorola battery with labels, coding, etc (as depicted) but doesn't work one iota. TOTAL drag. Have reported it online so we'll see what seller has to say. Wishing I'd spent a little more $ so not to have this hassle. Will probably just go to Radio Shack, whose selling battery I need for $18 + s&h.

It was listed as new, but arrived in a plastic baggie, obviously not new. I tried to charge it and while it did get a full charge, it used up the entire charge in less than 2 hours... Read morePublished 1 month ago by M. Duphorne
