Simple controls on the headphones allow you to adjust volume, change tracks, play/pause your music and take calls--music automatically pauses during calls and resumes after the call. High definition audio ensures you'll enjoy your music in rich surround sound. Plus, with up to 8 hours of play time and 9 hours of talk time, the S10-HD will last through all of life's little adventures. It's compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones for taking calls, but it requires a mobile phone or digital audio player with an embedded A2DP Bluetooth profile for stereo music streaming.
Sweat it Out
Optimized for an active lifestyle, the S10-HD uses advanced materials like hydrophobic acoustic mesh in a lightweight, sweat-proof design. The new ear cushion interface protects the speaker from sweat, and silicone seals protect electrical components throughout the headphones. To reduce exposure to moisture, all buttons are co-molded and the micro-USB charging cover is molded to the headphones housing with a waterproof plug. Perfect for your daily workout, outdoor adventure or just when you're out and about, the S10-HD keeps the moisture out and the music flowing.

The Motorola feels like it's much better made, and not as fragile as the one from the other company (iKross). It slips over my ears easily (over the earpieces of my glasses), and fits comfortably. It rides well, and does not slip out of my ears. It has better sound as well. The control buttons are much superior. Instead of having three buttons that have multiple functions controlled by the number of times you click, the S10 has seven buttons - three on each earpiece (easily located) and one on the underside of the part that goes around the back of your head which you push to activate your bluetooth connection, also easily located. The buttons on the left side control your volume (top and bottom), the middle accepts a phone call. On the right, the upper and lower buttons take you to the next or previous track, while the middle one puts your music on pause.
Since I primarily use this while I'm riding my bicycle, it seems to be the perfect headphone for me. I can listen to my music, but still hear enough to be aware of a car sneaking up on me, I can quickly and easily change tunes or volume with just one easily located button click, or answer a call. It's well sealed, so sweat should not affect it. Only time will tell about the durability of the battery, but if it lasts two years I'll be satisfied and would purchase a replacement.
Call mode is not exceptional, but neither is speaker phone on a cellphone in most environments. It's great for quick exchanges when hands are full while at work or play, but I use it for audio really. Charge usually goes 8-10 hours though last hour it sounds a loud series of dings to the extent it can't be good for your ears to indicate that it is dying. I'd rather just have it die than beep in my ear for the last hour, what a wasted hour of power fortunately the usage time is long and charge time is short and it charges on pretty much any micro USB regardless of most amp ratings I have though not a guarantee for all micro USB chargers. The red decorative rubber near the buds will come off from sweat or humidity get over it or get some glue. It won't effect functionality or feel. Make sure to try different earbuds. earbuds that are too big may push the frame or glasses into your head and cause discomfort. It comes with different buds. I was to stubborn as even though one pair of buds felt nice the frame did not. Choose a pair of earbuds that effect both ears and frame/head comfort. The dip of the headset on the back of the neck allows for a bike or climbing helmet. Unlike the newer trendy junk with wired buds, it is a solid piece so you are less likely to rip out your buds. I'm not happy with the trendy direction of newer headsets. So not perfect but an excellent buy if you can get over little defects. Average lifespan, 2 years but only because I use them 10 or more hours a day. Enjoy!
It's a bit snugger of a fit then the S9, but still fits well. The snugness is actually nice when using the headset on a run.
Sound quality is great and the in-ear buds help to deaden outside noise too.
The mic is an added benefit, although it doesn't work as well as one would hope; it does however work better the mic did on the S9.
The MicroB charging port is nice too - now all of my devices use the same cable.
Ultimately, if you liked the S9-HD, this is a great step up at a pretty low price point.

My other major issue which seems to be the same as others is that the volume is much lower than the S9's. I was cleaning the inside of the car today with the hover and had to have them on max volume and could still clearly hear the hover, not an issue on the old version. I'm using a Galaxy Nexus which I know has poor volume but have also tried them on a hp TouchPad (running Android) and a LG Optimus 2x and the low volume is still there
Then there is the constant clicking and hissing, they seen to go to sleep very quickly so if you have audible feedback enabled on your phone each time you press something they hiss-click-hiss for a few seconds which is getting quite annoying.
One good thing is the Bluetooth reception seems better, with my Galaxy Nexus in my pocket I had no cut out's and I used to get a few on the S9.
I'm playing around with the Volume+ app to see if I can tweak the sound, increase the base and try and remove some distortion but not at app happy with them and a definite step backwards by three generations
They come with three sizes of silicon earpieces and after a few minutes testing I had chosen the ones that seemed to fit the best. They do not isolate all of the sounds around you when you are running and I think that is a good thing, it is far too dangerous, in my opinion, to be isolated from what is happening around you. The sound quality is not as good as my wired Bose earbuds but then I didn't think it would be. That said I happen to think that the sound quality is pretty good, there is a fair amount of bass and treble and I don't find the sound to be at all muddy and indistinct. Each ear loop has a set of controls for volume, pause etc and whilst this may be handy for some I have tended to leave them alone and control my music from the Motoactv. I just don't feel comfortable with my hand beside my ear when running, it feels unbalanced to me.
One drawback with these earphones is that the ear loops tend to make wearing sunglasses a bit of a problem. The sunglasses have to rest on top of the ear loops and their fit is then less than perfect. I suppose that if you have sunglasses with strait arm rather than arms that curve around your ears then it will not be too big a problem but it is something you should be aware of.
Battery life seems OK, the longest I have worn them is for about 90 minutes and they were fine. I have charged them after every use and I can't honestly say what kind of time you could expect them to last. Charging via the included USB cable is very easy, the micro USB sits behind a rubber flap that seals the charging slot off from sweat, moisture and rain.
In the case of this headset, I find that I cannot wear it as, even though I have an average sized head for a man, the frame is too small, and as it is rigid, it means that it digs into the sides of your head so much it causes pain after 30 seconds, and can't be maintained.
As for my wife, she has given up wearing it as the large battery pack at the rear of the set bounces up and down whilst you run, and again causes an annoyance / discomfort.
These may be good for walking or just looking good without wires, but I wouldn't really say they are suitable for anything lively or sporty.
As a side note, we ended up buying a second set of now discontinued Sony headphones are are very happy with them.
1.) The ear buds affect the sound quite dramatically.
2.) These are painfully uncomfortable, especially if you use the small ear buds that give you the best quality sound. The large buds are a little less painful but the sound quality plummets.
On the plus side the battery life is good, but that doesn't make up for the issues.
