Thank you for producing applesauce with a good seal on the jar. I had to stop buying applesauce at the supermarket because with the brands they offered I couldn't tell if the seal was still good and no one nowadays seems to can it. I dislike the waste of the individual cups. This not only is a multi-serving jar with a good secure seal but the applesauce inside is YUMMY! Tastes like good, ripe golden delicious apples. And it is unsweetened--just the sweetness of the natural fruit. A winner. I have bought several jars, and I think it will be a winner in baked goods, too.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Mott’s Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup shredded coconut, lightly toasted
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 cup vanilla nonfat yogurt
Recipe Idea: Nuts for Apples Cookies
Makes about two dozen cookies.
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, and egg in a large bowl. Mix until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Spoon dough by rounded tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
4. Allow to cool slightly before removing cookies to cool completely.

I ate the apple sauce.
The package came sealed which is great but could the laundry detergent also come with a seal like the fabric softener came in? The detergent was poured and all over the rest of the items. Lost about 20-35 ounces when the detergent arrived.
