Roll Out Dough to 5mm Thick

Roll cookie dough to 5mm (1/5 inch) thickness. Use rolling pin guide rings if needed.

Dip Cookie Cutter into a Bowl of Flour

Dip cookie cutter into a bowl of flour and shake off any excess flour. Remember to repeat this step after every press to prevent the dough from sticking to the cutter and ensure smooth, clean cuts.

Cut and Shape

Dust dough surface with flour to prevent sticking. Press cookie cutter into the dough to create shapes. Dip the cookie cutter in a bowl of flour after each press to ensure the dough doesn't stick to the cutter in subsequent use.

Ready for Baking

Transfer cookie cut-outs to the oven tray. If you have trouble transferring the cookie cut-outs, try this alternative method: Roll the dough out on a baking sheet, cut the shapes, and remove the negatives. Then simply transfer the entire baking sheet to the oven tray. This way, you won't need to transfer each individual cookie dough, making it easier to manage.

Bake to Perfection

Bake at 170°C (338°F) for 10 to 15 minutes.

Nothing wrong with the cutter but I used for clay and not cookies. The clay was thinner, making it difficult to leave the imprint well enough so I cut out the center and didn’t in two steps. I was pleased with the result. I made ornaments and they turned out great!
