I am 52 and I have been buying sleeping bags all my adult life for I lived most of my life outdoors and I truly like my two Mountain Hardwear Lamina 0 sleeping bags.Other than being made in China, which if I knew it at the time of purchase I would not have bought it, it seems to be of good quality and my zippers work just fine. The only thing I can see wrong is the size of the zipper, it should be bigger, though I know they are trying to keep the cold air out. I have bought a lot of North Face sleeping bags, which are made in China, and find that Mountain Hardwear is superior in quality and design.
I also bought a Mountain Hardwear Spectre 800 fill 20 degree down sleeping bag that is GREAT!!!

Kind of big when compressed, takes 1/3 of my 70 L pack. Its warm though. Zippers are great, and the hood is like a big fluffy cloud

Very warm. Haven't tried it down any where close to zero yet but am looking forward to it. Appears to be well made-seams are tight.
