Great For Around The House
on July 23, 2011
First off, I own seven Utilikilts, and wear them frequently. I'm a fan. I also usually like Mountain Hardwear products, and there's a lot to like in this kilt. It's light; that's probably the biggest thing over Utilikilts. It moves reasonably well, I don't feel constricted. The only problem I have with this kilt is that, how shall I say it, the front leaves little to the imagination? That's one area where having a heavier apron in the front, like the Utilikilt has, is a benefit. Maybe I could pick up an inexpensive sporran, but wearing a sporran with such a lightweight kilt would probably look funny.
Maybe not as funny as the silhouette I'm currently showing. In the end, I'm glad I purchased this kilt, but I mainly wear it around the house and not out in public. Maybe out hiking, where there aren't a lot of people around, or with a t-shirt that hangs a little lower, but not on a trip to the grocery store.
