I purchased this shirt for my boyfriend, who is an actual fighter pilot, to wear under his flight suit for a football game flyover. Wrap your mind around that- Inception style that's like three layers deep. Like most pilots, he loves anything that draws attention to himself, so he was overjoyed to receive it. He couldn't wait to put it on and plan the big reveal post-flyover. What he didn't expect, was the strange feeling that came over him as soon as he put it on. The cocky, youthful, perpetually hungover bravado was replaced with a quiet dignity, even a wisdom, that transcended his record of bagging traps on the carrier. He hopped into the jet that day and flew the best flight of his entire life. The precision, the speed, the surge of pure American patriotism that rose up inside of him was unlike anything he'd ever before experienced. Later, while his squadron buddies were drunkenly playing sand volleyball to the sounds of Kenny Loggins, sweating and high fiving each other while wearing their standard issue aviator sunglasses and dog tags, I found him standing alone, silently looking up at the sky. I asked him what he was thinking about, and he took a long time to respond. Without taking his eyes from the heavens, he whispered softly, as a single tear rolled down his face, "America." The shirt changed him. It changed all of us. And maybe, just maybe, it changed America too. I asked him if he wanted to contribute anything to this review, and his response was this: "Eagle man fighter pilot, you can be my wingman any day" (salute).
(Of note-- the shirt was of good quality, the fabric was thick but not too thick, and it fit as expected.)

The best purchase I have made in my life. Before this shirt there was a void in my life; no matter what I did I couldn't fill it. I tried many manly American things: grew a beard, fired guns off my back porch, and even bought a dog. Even after doing all these things I still felt that growing emptiness inside me, like a hunger as if I had not eaten bacon for over 24 hours. As I was about to give up and let the darkness engulf me I found this shirt. The Prime shipping barely got it to me in time. As soon as I slipped this beauty over my head my whole life changed, I was now full of a burning desire to run down the street waving my giant American flag and fire my .45 in the air screaming "MURIKA!!!" My wife had to restrain my and I settled to just doing it in my mind, the second best thing. I highly recommend that you buy this shirt if you are facing that same dark void in your life.!
