This wall mount is *very* high quality, especially for the price, but most important is its versatility. I have a unique situation where I needed a fully articulating mount that could be centered perfectly on a wall above two monitors, and while I have 16" studs, they are offset, meaning a standard 16" mount wouldn't allow me to center the TV.
A lot of other scissor-jack style articulating mounts do not allow the TV to slide left or right along the mounting bar, meaning your TV is centered where the mount is centered, for better or worse. This mount allows the TV to slide along the entire width of the mount, meaning you have a lot of wiggle room to get your TV centered no matter where your studs are. Narrower VESA mounts (100x100 and 200x200) will have much more room to slide the length of the arm than wider VESA mounts, but all TVs should be able to get at least a few inches of wiggle room in any direction.
The mount comes with all the hardware you could possibly need. VESA screws for any combination of VESA patterns, spacers for non-flat backed televisions or televisions with their VESA mounting points set into the TV back and washers for all the various screws. The lag bolts are rock solid, just make sure you're using a socket and go slow. I tried to rapidly ratchet them in and the socket head started slipping, they are just a shade smaller than the proper metric size but the next metric size down was too small. Just go slow. I'd also recommend drilling with a bit the next size down from recommended.
The instructions themselves are not particularly well written (translated) and took me a few attempts to understand what they were getting at, but it is pretty self-explanatory. Most importantly, the included template is wonderful. It is a perfect size for the mounting base and, even better, the template itself has a spot to stick an included bubble level so you can be confident in how level your TV is going to be before even drilling a hole. I would still recommend checking with a proper level, but the mount also has microadjustments for leveling once you get the TV on.
All in all, I have nothing but good things to say about this. Fully articulating and all the adjustments you could ever possibly need plus a painless set-up, once you get a few times through the instructions. Great value too.
I've installed three television mounts in the last few months in my house and I've learned a lot in that process. I installed a 50 inch Samsung television in my living room using a mount I got from Target, a Sanus mount. It was decent but incredibly expensive and the way the television mounted to the mount wasn't confidence inspiring. Recently I wanted to install another 50 inch Samsung in the bedroom and I looked to Amazon for a cheaper, better, and quickly arriving mount.
Enter the Mounting Dream. Now let's start by saying people don't usually get excited about television mounts and the name "Mounting Dream" is fairly cheesy - let's be honest. But yet, I'm a believer in the name now and am thrilled with this product.
The mount is very quality construction, doesn't feel cheap and not excessively heavy. The way it mounts the TV feels very secure and is confidence inspiring when hanging tons of money on the wall. The kit came with everything I needed. In fact, the bolts were too long and I prepared to go to Lowes to get appropriate screws when I noticed they included tons of different size spacers - problem solved and they worked perfectly! (The Sanus from Target did not have various spacers included). Additionally, it came with a level, HDMI cables, a template to stick on the wall and that really helped. No one likes buying a home project only to find they don't have a tool or piece needed to finish it and begrudgingly heading out to Lowes. Everything in this kit is thought through smartly to avoid just that.
I cannot recommend this product enough and what made me decide to purchase this was the insane amount of 5 star reviews and I'm happy to see why there were so many and add another 5 stars myself. Great quality, excellent price, and all the necessary tools needed to do the job (including a level and HDMI cables, come on!) Do yourself a favor and buy this mount!
I don't know if I got a dud or what, but I am not impressed with the quality. The mount is solid and sturdy and fit our new 55" TV, but once level on the wall, the TV was WAY out of level because the metal was twisted in manufacturing on the mount. We have tried twice and still can't get it level. I never had this problem with my previous mount which unfortunately didn't fit my new television. Also, to tilt the TV you have to loosen screws with an Allen wrench? How ridiculous is that? The one I had before was harder to install but was perfectly level once leveled on the wall and full motion WITHOUT having to get out tools. I would avoid this mount if you ever plan on tilting it. Also, I was sent a canned form email from the manufacturer in response (twice-verbatim) stating to level the mount, when I specifically stated in my review that it WAS level. I am very handy and build things so I am VERY familiar with how to use a level, and this item while heavy duty was simply manufactured poorly. I have several other televisions mounted and have used 3 different brands of mounts (depending on which served my intended purpose), and this was by far the most poorly constructed and gave the most problems. Although the others were initially a little harder to install, they leveled perfectly and operated much better in the long run. Who wants to pull out an allen wrench every time you want to tilt your television a little bit? It's ridiculous! I would never buy another mount from this manufacturer again.
I ordered this for our 50inch Sony and it's great. The metal is a very good thickness and when bolted into the wall studs, it can hold more than just the weight of the TV. Some people have mentioned part of the the frame bending but I did not experience or see that. I used the mounting bolts that were included in the kit and those bolts are very decent in size and strength. Read the instructions and use the correct bolts and spacers in the kit and you'll be fine, it comes with a template so you know where you have to drill the holes. The TV does stick out from the wall but that's expected with this type of bracket. The arms articulate a good distance and there is no flop from what I can see, it holds well. I'd like to say that it's smooth in operation when pulling away from the wall but it's not that smooth, you do need to use some effort but not too much. I don't see myself having to move or swing this out very often. This thing was so great that I bought a second bracket for my smaller 40 inch TV. Different wall mount style but same company.
5.0 out of 5 starsA great kit that includes everything needed to wall mount a TV (other than tools)

After discovering my house was built with 24" stud centers, I had to return a different wall mount I had bought off Amazon and order this one.
This kit is very nice and much less expensive than similar kits sold at Best Buy or Home Depot. The kit includes everything needed for a secure and tidy install, other than some tools I already own (drill, drill bit, impact driver, socket and stud finder).
There is no assembly required out of the box: -find your studs -drill pilot holes for lag screws -affix the mount to the wall with the provided lag screws -level the mounting plate with the provided level -screw the TV bars to the back of the TV with the provided screws and spacers (careful to use the right length of screw so you don't damage the TV) -then hang the TV on the mounting plate and tighten the two screws facing downwards on the TV bars to secure the TV to the plate
Once the TV is installed, you can play around with how tight or loose the pivot screws are to make the full motion mount move more or less freely. I just angled the TV down as far as it would go and tightened most of the screws down because we won't be moving the TV around very frequently. Overall, installation took less than hour doing everything myself, and the TV mount feels very secure.
My wife and I really enjoy having the TV mounted up high on the wall in our bedroom so that we can wind down at night by watching some TV before bed, and the TV no longer gets in the way sitting on top of our dresser.
5.0 out of 5 starsLove it, but make sure you have the proper tools before mounting!

I was worried about being able to hang our 60" tv from this since it only mentions up to 55", but as it was still waaay under the load limit, it worked like a charm.
The stencil sheet that comes with it is great for when you've found your wall studs and want to figure out where to screw in, but as someone previously mentioned, the tiny bubble level that comes with that doesn't work very well, as you'd actually need to use a level to make sure it's level before you adhere it to the stencil.
Buuut, the slightly larger level that comes with this kit is actually useful for that as it seems to have a small slot that can slip over the edge of the stencil sheet, and is much better for figuring out level.
Once that's done, it's then a bit of an awkward job to hold it up and bolt in the wall once you've filled your holes, if you're the only person doing it, but it definitely is doable. They say to use a socket wrench, which I had but was missing the proper piece, so I had to use a crescent wrench. Do yourself a favor and get a damn socket wrench because good lord that was a pain in the ass to do with a wrench!!
All in all, it's working great! Good amount of tiltability, and combined with some $7 cable channels from Ikea, it's looking sharp.
5.0 out of 5 starsAll you need is a drill and a stud finder

The Mounting Dream Full Motion Wall Mount is excellent quality and arrived quickly. I highly recommend this product. All required hardware was included, including a wall mounting template, two different spirit levels and a huge assortment of various screws that will fit any TV on the market I suspect. I recommend that you have an electronic stud-finder available so you know where to drill your holes. The installation instructions were clear and even included a troubleshooting guide that helped me fine-tune the leveling afterwards. I highly recommend this product.
5.0 out of 5 starsA Little Tricky to Put Together - But Works Really Well

This is a really solid mounting system with a lot of flexibility re. the various positions. It is, however a bit tricky to figure out how to put it together and mount it. Ended up doing a few things upside down and backwards and had to redo it. But once we were all done, it worked really, really well. I bought 2 - one for a 43” TV and one for a 50” TV. No worries with either one re. safely holding them in place. Overall, a great product for cord access and added viewing options.
