Once upon a time, before the turn of the century the PlayStation was released. The good people at Sony wanted to make sure that the hardware was available for all the games which could make use of the analog functions of the system. This controller is the only controller for games such as A-Train (a train simulation), Sim City 2000, and X-Com UFO defense. It has provided many hours of entertainment, not only for me, but for my grandson as well. You can play the above games without a mouse, but it is extremely cumbersome. I recommend picking one up just for the way-cool mouse pad.
