This book was ok. I liked how it described what Matthew was thinking VS how it came out. It was a good book for describing apraxia of speech, but could be better.
I also am not a fan of the illustrations, and I know that’s just me being nit-picky.
I purchased this book to read to my daughters first grade class during Exceptional Children's Week, and to save for Childhood Apraxia of Speech Awareness day (May 15th), as she has CAS. This book ended up in the return pile.

I've had to read this numerous times before bed now, and with him starting kindergarten later this year, its the perfect book to prepare him for it!
